Fheter John B. “Fhetz” Calanday is a technopreneur, technology consultant, and faculty member of the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSE) program with extensive experience in software development, innovation, and startup development. He holds a Master of Science in Technopreneurship and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management from Palawan State University.
With over 13 years of experience in software development and technology consulting, he has worked as a Senior IT Consultant for organizations including the Asian Development Bank (ADB), USAID, DENR – Biodiversity Management Bureau, and UNDP. He also serves as Director of a Technology Business Incubator and mentors startups under DOST and DICT MIMAROPA. In the academic setting, he teaches Entrepreneurial Mind, Wholesale and Retail Sales Management, and Operations Management (TQM) while integrating real-world startup and innovation experience into the classroom. His areas of expertise include Project Management, Software and Business Solutions Development, Design Thinking, and Technopreneurship, with research interests focused on Technopreneurship, Startups, Technology Commercialization, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Technology Business Incubation.
