Mary Joy R Baterna

Mary Joy “Joy” Baterna is a Licensed Professional Teacher and faculty member of the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSE) program with a strong background in business and entrepreneurship education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management from Western Philippines University (2022) and is currently pursuing her Master in Business Administration at Palawan State University. She also completed Continuing Professional Education (CPE) at Full Bright College in 2023, further strengthening her professional teaching competencies. Aside from her academic role, she is an entrepreneur and owner of a piggery business, providing her with hands-on experience in managing operations, finances, and supply chains. In the academic setting, she teaches courses including Accounting for Non-Accountants, Professional Development, Entrepreneurial Mind, Entrepreneurship with Feasibility Study, Supply Chain Management, Production Management, and Human Resource Management, where she integrates practical business insights to help students understand real-world entrepreneurship and business operations.
