Ruben Josef Emmanuel B Abao

Ruben Josef Emmanuel “Benjo” Abao and faculty member of the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSE) program with experience in government services. He earned his Master of Science in Technopreneurship from Palawan State University – Graduate School (2025) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management from Far Eastern University – Manila (2015). He previously served for six years with the Provincial Government of Palawan (2019–2025), gaining valuable experience in government operations and community development. He is also involved in a family-owned apartment leasing business, giving him practical exposure to entrepreneurship and property management. In the academic setting, he teaches ENTREP 101 – Microeconomics for Entrepreneurs and ST 102 – Wholesale and Retail Sales Management. He is also engaged in research, with a published study titled “Pet Owners' Pain Points as Basis for an Introduction of a Digital Pet Care Platform in Palawan” (2025), which explores technology-driven solutions for local market needs.
